Cardinal K9 Therapy, Inc is an Affiliate of "Delta Society" and a Non-Profit Corporation registared as a 501(C)3 organization in the State of North Carolina. Our Mission is to train and maintain teams of dogs and handlers to perform canine Therapy activities, and promote dogs helping people improve there health, independence, and quality of life. Cardinal K9 Therapy, Inc was formed through a local dog trainer and her students. All having a vision to provide the Raleigh/Durham area with stable/well trained dog/handler teams to be used in theraputic settings. All dogs and handlers must meet "Delta Society Pet Partners" registration requirements. Cardinal K9 can provide direction and guidance for all dog/handler teams seeking "Pet Partners" registation. CK-9 welcomes volunteers that wish to become CK-9 Therapy Teams (With dogs) as well as those individuals(Without dogs) that are willing to donate there time for events such as training,fundraising, and public education.
