We will play 35 – 40 games in that time. This year we are starting our season with a full roster of 15 players and five coaches. We have a good team that will be competitive and win games. 2007 AAU National AAU Championship at Disney World We did it! The 2007 North Miami Jr. Red Sox played in the 2007 AAU – 11 under – National Championship Tournament at Disney World, July 15 thru July 22nd. There were over 100 AAU 11 year old baseball teams from across the country that participated in the tournament. We were the only team from Miami Dade County and we are the only AAU baseball team in Miami Dade County. Our team went 0-7 but we made big strides and scored our first runs of the season. We played hard and had a lot of fun. More importantly we know that we can be completive playing baseball at this level. We also learned that if we continue to practice and play together, in time we can become National Champions. Our team has earned a reputation within the AAU Gold Coast Division (the state of Florida) for being well disciplined, hard working, staying positive and demonstrating good sportsmanship. We have now been recognized on a NATIONAL level for being well disciplined, hard working, staying positive and demonstrating good sportsmanship. We were awarded the 2007 SPORTSMANSHIP PLAQUE at the 2007 AAU National Championships Tournament at Disney World

Opening Ceremony To play baseball on a national stage for the first time against some of the best 11 year teams in the country is an experience the players and coaches will never forget. It was awesome. Fortunately our team has seven more years to look forward to playing for a National Championship on a National Stage.
