Many of us may feel like chameleons at times, feeling as if we just blend into the background because not many seem to notice us or care about us. We all possess hidden talents, and our Lord Jesus Christ knows how to bring them to the forefront in His timing. I hope you will be encouraged to contribute your comedic and inspirational creativity on the following topics. (Just send me an e-mail.)
1. Heavenly Interventions (for encouragement)
2. Our Favorite Comics
3. Embarrassing Moments 4. Odd Observations
At least at this point, I'm not interested in holding David Letterman's hand as we walk down Broadway coatless in winter. I don't do well around celebrities.
1. I freeze up and
2. I blank out
. . . a lot like Lucy when William Holden winked at her at the Brown Derby.
Like the time I ALMOST talked to Bob Hope. During high school, I went on a trip to Washington, D.C. Our Close Up group was staying at the Shoreham Hotel when word spread that Bob Hope was in our hotel! I went with my roommates to his reported room where we encountered a couple of security guards. When we asked them if that was Bob Hope's room, they shrugged and said, “Nooo.” We said, “Okay” and left, believing they were telling us the truth. THEN one of my roommates called Bob Hope's room and he answered! I was in the bathroom where there also was a phone – something I had not seen before or since, but I was too frozen to even pick it up and listen to him.
For many reasons, I want to remain invisible.
1. I can't tell a joke without goofing it up.
2. I speak softly as I halt . . . and stammer . . . and stutter (kind of a combination of Mel Tillis and Georgette).
3. “You doesn't has to call me Johnson.” (Remember Raymond J. Johnson, Jr. played by Billy Seluga on "The Red Foxx Show"?)
I also prefer to be a sit-down comic.
1. I like to type.
2. I lack the effusive personality of a stand-up comic.
3. I also lack the effusive sweat of Mark Lowry (one of my favorite comedians). He is this generation's Bob Hope!

I hope this web site will offer encouragement to you and draw you to our Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, Lord, and Life.
