Established in 1984, the Shreveport Metropolitan Concert Band at LSUS is the premier community band in Shreveport, Louisiana. The SMCB is the oldest, continuously operating community band in Shreveport, and is located at Lousiana State University in Shreveport. There are over 70 members, from all walks of life, and ranging in age from 16 years to over 80. We all come together with a love of making music.
