Torben is a co-signator of the 2003 Humanist Manifesto III and an active member and Advisor to the Board of the Florida Humanists Association, and member of American Humanist Association. He is the director of the Center for Humanism in the South Florida area. To view details about these activities, click on HFA-South.
Torben is a freelance contributor to the Florida Humanist and the Humanist - the quarterly and bi-monthly magazines of the Florida Humanists and the American Humanist Associations - as well as a regular contributor to the largest Danish business daily.
Torben is on the Speakers Bureau of the Florida Humanist Association and he gives presentations at the prestigious organization, MiamIntelligence. The subjects of his speeches are Humanism, Tolerance, The Free Spirit, and Human Rights, all of which are subjects of his novel The Eyes of The Sphinx.
