The name "Courant" was inspired by the New England Courant of Boston. It was the first newspaper that Benjamin Franklin both worked and wrote for when he was still in his teens.
We hope to challenge and uplift the readers as that paper did so many years ago.
The Pensacola Courant is both Christian and conservative in its viewpoint.
