"I wrote a song, but I can't read music so I don't know what it is. Every once in a while I'll be listening to the radio and say, "I think I might have written that"..Steven Wright

I apologize about my guestbook. I accidentally deleted it. I cherished it, for many people from every facet of life had signed.

Jerry and wife "Rita"
Once working with
a who's who of performers and writers, Jerry Grammer is listed in the European Rockabilly Hall Of Fame and in The Alabama Music Hall of Fame, as an achiever! Although he never made the really "big" time he came very close!

Jerry sits home now with his wife; Rita, and poodle; Tilly, and a few thousand memories of his life in show business! There is usually a guitar nearby. This must be some sort of therapy, because through the years he never played that particular instrument ( Music Mag,2002)

"I have been trying to teach myself guitar, after all these years." I really enjoy it. I am unable to play drums because of a back injury; and hypertension prevents me from playing trumpet, (My original instrument) I still try to sing for my own amazement!( chortle) As far as never making the fame; I am thankful for the chances I had and the talent I met, not regrets for the mistakes I made! I am also thankful to be able to share some of my escapades, especially after I kept silent about all of this for years. My main regret is; I never had enough ego to save everything concerning the "Show Business" part of my past. It would all be interesting to share!

I thank Rita and the grace of God for even bringing me to this point!

Thanks for visiting,

Jerry
