Born in Birmingham, Alabama on September 1 of a long time ago, music always mesmerized me as a child as far back as I can remember. Fortunately, by the age of 12, I was playing in my first "working" band in Decatur Al. From there, everything just seemed to fall into place,musically. In the 70's I played in several road bands. One in particular was called "Shagnasty". Then in '76, I moved to Atlanta, GA and played the Holiday Inn and Local Club circuit for the next several years with the group "FastBreak". In '86 I helped form along with Devon Patrick, one of the first electric duos in Atlanta. We were "Modern Men" We played several "house" gigs before I went SOLO. I sing, play Lead Guitar, program bass, drums and keyboards. Some of my early influences are -- Allman Bros., Barry Bailey(ARS),Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughn and many, many others.
